We have been fans of Eastern Standard in the old location but 1st time at the new location. While the vibe is not the same, we miss the checkered floors and old school vibe, the food is just as we remembered. We had great cocktails and wine, and ordered the Steak Frites!! Yum - highly recommend -

If you have not tried the new Eastern Standard, you should. My son and daughter and their spouses and I went Saturday night, The food was as great as the service. Parking was easy . It was a great night. It is not cheap but is a lot more reasonable than the steak places and the Seaport, Try it. On Beacon St near Kenmore Square.

Candlelit, classy ambience perfect for a fancy dinner date night out or for cocktails. Obviously on the pricier side. We ordered: Broiled Oysters ($17), Steak Frites ($26), Tuna Nicoise ($19). Everything was high quality and delicious. Service was great.

We've been to Eastern standard several times over the last few years and food is usually pretty good, ambiance is great and service friendly. Most recently we came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. We sat at the bar and ordered food. The lobster roll was pretty good - had lots of lobster on a buttery roll. It came with chips which I only had a few of. Hubs had the ham and cheese which came on a pretzel bun. Service was great! We stayed for almost 3 hours and had a great time. This is definitely a great place for all occasions!

I've eaten at ESK a few times now and have thoroughly enjoyed each time. I've had lamb chops for dinner which was great, and some of the raw bar choices. They usually have a daily dinner special as well. This most recent time I came with friends for brunch. The brunch menu felt somewhat limited and very standard, not hugely innovative. I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it'd be simple but the harissa aioli and avocado made it so good. The Bloody Mary was kinda disappointing because I love the cocktails here and really expected the bloody to be great. It was just okay. The real highlight that I get every time I'm here is the butterscotch bread pudding dessert! So good. I highly recommend.

Eastern Standard is my go to for cocktails, brunch, dinner, and late night dining! It is hard to find a place that can master everything! For cocktails, they have a nice bar area. Perfect ambience for dates and hanging out with friends for a casual drink. The cocktails are super interesting. I highly recommend being adventurous and trying a few different cocktails. For brunch, I love the perfect balance of savory and sweet dishes. The eggs benedict is always a solid choice. But if you are craving something sweet, I highly recommend the french toast. Also, I can always count on Eastern Standard when I get off of work late or when I am craving for something delicious late at night. They have a special late night menu. From this menu, I love the raw oysters, steak tartare, steak frites and the french dip roast beef. Yes! You can order all of this in their late night menu!

We celebrated a birthday gathering here last weekend. Great service and food! Our waitress was perfectly attentive and friendly. We had the following (that I tasted). Roasted bone marrow - Delicious and a good portion! Also, only $11! Tuna Nicoise - The salad was okay. Probably my least favorite item. I wasn't a huge fan of the tuna (and I love tuna). Mussels - YUM! Big and fresh. The broth was mild. I love a ton of garlic! Good choice to share. Cioppino - Best dish of the night. Fresh seafood and garlic butter in the bread! Mac & Cheese - Creamy! Good for kids. We ordered wine for the table and all the cocktails we had were well crafted. I didn't get to taste the prime rib but it looked AMAZING. It was a huge slab of meat. I was jealous. It's a little pricey for new American food but the service and ambiance is quite nice. I'd come back anytime for drinks and bone marrow!

We stumbled upon this place by accident. We were hoping to find breakfast or brunch somewhere (after noon) and they had what we were looking for. The place is huge, tons of seating (including the bar area). The service was very quick. We received our drinks within in minutes and the meal shortly after. We both ordered the scrambled eggs plate ($13) - one with bacon the other with sausage. The potatoes were well seasoned and very filling. The plate comes with 3 eggs, which is nice since most places serve just 2. The sausage was two links but the bacon was only two thin strips- so I feel like that was kind of skimpy. Other than that, no complaints! Overall the food and drinks were fairly priced, service was quick, everyone was friendly and the food was delicious with large portions. Great brunch spot!

Absolutely one of the best meals and atmospheres to have a meal in while I was visiting Boston. Met a Boston friend here, at his suggestion. Good for groups, good for families, good for dates, or a girl's night out- it's a lively loud place with a luxurious feel to it. We had a great booth spot, perched up in the bar side of the house, Eastern Standard is gorgeous! Started with the mussels, which were great. Had a few local craft beers with the meal, their list is nice. I loved my salmon dish, and was envious of my buddy's steak with frites, the steak looked amazing. Service was excellent, the food and atmosphere were both top notch.
